Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for the Community action in the field of water policy.
Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products.
AIR
Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2008 on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe entered into force on 11 June 2008.
ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE
The Environmental Noise Directive (The “END”) (2002/49/EC) relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
The END aims to “define a common approach intended to avoid, prevent or reduce on a prioritised basis the harmful effects, including annoyance, due to the exposure to environmental noise”.
